WARR IS ON ISS!!
Our experiment cube of the mission ADDONISS has reached the International Space Station (ISS) yesterday and is now integrated and connected to the data transmission, which means we just received the first telemetry data from space!
We are really excited that our self-assembled system with the cells is now in space.
On Tuesday we got to watch the launch of the #CRS27 rocket together with all of the other #ueberflieger2 winning Teams BRAINS (Universität Luxemburg FARGO (Small Satellite Student Society of the University of Stuttgart – KSat e.V.) and Glücksklee (Leibniz Universität Hannover) in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Seeing a rocket launch in real life (while having our own payload on it), is an experience that none of us will ever forget.
Now ADDONISS is going to run fully automated on the ISS generating data until return in about a month.
For now we cannot do anything else besides thanking each team member for the great work they did in the last couple of months.
See you soon back in Germany!
