Where do you work?
Most of our work happens at the TUM Campus in Garching. Even though it’s quite a bit outside the city, once you’re there, most of our facilities are located conveniently on campus, all in walking distance. This includes our office, workshop with test site and the Makerspace, which we also use extensively for manufacturing.
How many hours of work is expected of members per week?
In contrast to many other student teams, we don’t have a hard-and-fast number of hours we expect from our members in terms of time commitment. Our philosophy is that if people get excited about their work, they will voluntarily contribute time to the project, and it’s our job to get people excited. Each member can decide for themselves how much workload they’d like to take on. That being said, the more time one invests into the team, the more they will get back in terms of opportunities, rewarding experiences and new friends being made.
