WARR move
OUR GOAL
The Munich Orbital Verification Experiment, or MOVE for short, is the satellite technology group of WARR. For the past 15 years, the central mission of our team has been to educate students through hands-on experience and provide them with access to unique knowledge sources. To achieve this, the team develops its own satellite hardware and tests it in space using so-called CubeSats—a standardized type of nanosatellite. MOVE has already sent three 1U CubeSats (satellites measuring 10x10x11.3 cm) into space and is still in active contact with one of these satellites.
Furthermore, the MOVE project enables students to participate in workshops organized by university departments and external companies or institutions, to publish papers with the team and PhD students of the university, and to gain research experience.
